EchoeBack is a digital time capsule service designed to help you preserve memories and send messages to the future. Whether it’s a video for your future self, a letter to a loved one, or a milestone marker, we ensure your message is securely stored and delivered exactly when you want it.
Cloud storage (like Google Drive or Dropbox) is for files you need to access *now*. EchoeBack is for memories you want to experience *later*. We add value through the ritual of creation, the anticipation of delivery, and the emotional impact of receiving a message from the past. Plus, our capsules come with branded intros/outros and a premium delivery experience.
Absolutely. Your privacy is our top priority. All capsules are encrypted, and we do not access or view your personal content. It is strictly between you and your intended recipient.
Creating Capsules
You can create:
**Video Capsules:** Record a message (up to 10 minutes) directly from your browser.
**Letter Capsules:** Write a meaningful letter to yourself or someone else.
Currently, we focus on authentic, in-the-moment recordings created through our platform. Direct upload features may be added in the future.
You can schedule a capsule for delivery anywhere from 1 month to 50 years in the future!
Yes! You can choose to deliver the capsule to your own email address (for your future self) or to any other recipient’s email address (for friends, family, or children).
Pricing & Credits
We offer a Free plan that allows you to send 1 letter capsule per month. To unlock video capsules and more features, you can upgrade to one of our premium plans.
**Video Credits:** Used to create video capsules.
**Letter Credits:** Used to create text capsules.
* **Annual/Quarterly Plans:** Include “unlimited” letter credits!
If you cancel, your account will downgrade to the free plan at the end of your billing cycle. Don’t worry, any capsules you’ve already scheduled will still be delivered. We will never delete your scheduled memories just because you canceled.

To preserve the authenticity of the “time capsule” experience, capsules cannot be edited once they are sealed (submitted).
